L'iconographie est conforme aux modèles parisiens (cf. Tours, BM, 558) et le style des initiales historiées rappelle l'enluminure parisienne autour de 1330-1340, mais l'écriture est méridionale et la décoration secondaire présente un mélange avec des motifs italianisants, suggérant peut-être Avignon comme le lieu d’exécution de ce manuscrit.
